What is Record Restriction?
Record restriction limits public access to certain criminal history records.
- Records are not visible to most employers or landlords
- Records are not deleted
- Records remain accessible to law enforcement and courts
Possible Eligibility
You may be eligible for record restriction in situations such as:
- Charges dismissed
- Charges nolle prossed
- Not guilty findings
- Successful completion of First Offender

District Attorney’s Office.
